I have a cross-country race - the first one of the season where I will be racing for my club. The course itself is muddy, wet and cold (because that's cross-country), undulating (however much I don't know yet) and 2.7km. It is supposed to be 2.5km but that was the closet they could get to it.
Before the race I will walk the course, to know where to speed up and slow down, and where the hills are. Then I will warm up thoroughly, then I will race! Afterwards I will warm down thoroughly and go home. I will update, probably tomorrow, about how I got on. Bye for now!

If you are finding it hard to get into running, I highly recommend parkrun. It is very welcoming and encourages people of all abilities to get fit and have fun!
