We had a good training session last night. I haven't been to training all summer holiday so it was nice to go again. We did 3x300m with a 90 second rest in between each one, then 3x200m, again with a 90 second rest, then 3x100m with 90 seconds rest. There was a 5 minute rest in between each set.
That would be a good training session to do, as long sprints and tempo runs are the best way to get fit. Keep running!

I ran for Kent the on Sunday the 26th of July, in Kingston. I ran in the non-scoring 800m and got a new PB: 2:35 which was 3 seconds off my original PB, 2:38. I was very happy with that.
Also, before that, I did a race in Lewes for my club. I did 1200m and knocked 10 seconds off my PB so my new one was 4:08. I came 2nd in the race out of 6, well, I drew 2nd with another girl; we got exactly the same time! Happy summer! |

If you are finding it hard to get into running, I highly recommend parkrun. It is very welcoming and encourages people of all abilities to get fit and have fun!
